About her
As an independent, intelligent woman who has always worked in the vocational field and has travelled extensively, living in diverse cultures and countries, I am, for the first time, missing having a significant special person in my life. I'm retired but continue to work in a voluntary capacity helping set up patient organisations and mentoring. I love traveling, art, photography, exploring hidden parts of the UK, visiting my relatives scattered around the world in the Greek diaspora and continually learning and challenging my brain. I am probably slightly geeky, left leaning, spiritual and people oriented. I'm loyal, giving and probably quite challenging too, but hopefully worth getting to know

I would love to find someone who enjoys talking and experiencing in equal measures; who has the power of critical thinking and is able to see beyond their immediate world. Someone who finds interest in a walk on a busy road as much as a trip to a cultural centre or a small island; who understands that people are our most precious resource and deserve respect and dignity; someone who is independent and understands that a partner does not diminish that independence but enhances it; someone who has enough life experience to understand that we never stop learning and is inspired by that.
