About her
I am an outgoing, kind, caring and happy person with a good sense of humour, who has great family and friends. I have a strong moral compass with a dislike of injustice and prejudice. I worked in the NHS for 30 years before setting up my own business 10 years ago.
My hobbies are mixed media scrapbooking, book making and perusing antique shops for that hidden treasure. I am avid reader, play chess, but consider myself a novice.
My weekly yoga / pilates class is a great way to build and maintain core strength. I dance Ceroc and started Salsa dancing three years ago which is fun. I would love a regular dance partner but this is no deal breaker.
Music, especially live music is a passion of mine. I enjoy concerts and open mic sessions. My taste is eclectic from opera to musicals to rock and roll to 80s disco and blues or jazz.
Walking is another passion of mine. Living by the Cannock Chase is fantastic with lovely walks right on my doorstep. I have a friendly, crazy dog who is more cocker than poo 🤣 She has a lovable character, an insatiable appetite and loves to chase a ball.
Back in the day, I loved to ski but feel now I maybe a little apprehensive tackling those black runs. I did my PADI certificate in Gozo, Malta several years ago and would love to pick this up again as being under the sea was other worldly and quiet!
I have enjoyed travel to some interesting places abroad over the years. I love anywhere with history, beautiful architecture or views to die for. I have wonderful memories of two fly drive holidays in the US which included New Orleons, Arizona and California. I have sailed down the Martha Brai river and spent the night in Negril Jamaica in a grass hut watching the most beautiful sunsets. My most favorite country is Italy, never tiring of the art and culture not to mention the food and fine wines. I continually add to my bucket list places yet to visit both abroad and in the UK.
