I’ve recently taken early retirement after two careers: one as a computer software developer and one as a social/portrait photographer.
I enjoy good company, food and wine and live music. A country pub with good beer, a log fire and live acoustic folk/rock/Irish music is heaven. I enjoy film but not so much the cinema as other people’s bad manners, habits and noises often spoil it; I love reading but have difficulty staying awake so listen to more podcasts nowadays; I adore the theatre and love a decent TV box-set (Game of Thrones, The Sopranos, Line of Duty, Money Heist, etc). My sense of humour ranges from Laurel and Hardy to Kathryn Ryan and Aisling Bea via Billy Connolly, Victoria Wood and Inside Number 9.
I have 2 grown-up daughters who mean the world to me. I’m looking for friendship, maybe cuddles and whatever else that might lead to.
