After a successful career in education I am now pursuing my passion for visual art and writing. I love walking with friends and my dog Betty - urban, rural or coastal - and hiking trips in the UK and beyond. My most recent trip in September was hiking in the Caucus Mountains in Georgia - stunning! I run regularly and am training to do the February 10K London Winter Run to raise money for Cancer Research UK. I read fiction and non-fiction. Currently I am reading 'Lessons in Chemistry' by Bonnie Garmus. I enjoy good food and wine, going to the cinema and galleries - I’m a member of the independent Garden Cinema in Covent Garden and Tate - or watching a good drama or documentary on TV. I prefer small intimate social events to big gatherings.
