I am a left/green leaning, part time Design and Technology teacher (I am practical). I live by the canal and love the energy of Hackney Wick, although saddened by the impact of soulless developers to this vibrant, creative area. I enjoy modernist architecture and design, wandering the streets of London (particularly going to local markets and soaking up local history/culture). I love playing with my two grandchildren who live close by and enjoy meals out with close friends. I enjoy my work but am trying to develop interests outside of school, including gardening and volunteering. I am generally happy, a little bit lazy, but keen to see where life takes me next!

Politically to the left (Guardian reader), reasonable level of fitness and a healthy curiosity about life- opinions not too fixed! Interested in design and some aesthetic sensitivity.
