I have an adventurous spirit and an active lifestlye. I'm happy solo and with friends, but adventures are more fun with a companion.
I'm a keen club golfer with a desire to play more courses in the UK and abroad. A group golf holiday in March 2024 was amazing, but a golfing companion would be more rewarding.
I enjoy travel - 2023 was exceptional with 6 overseas holidays, to Spain x 2, Portugal, Turkey x 2, and Austria plus various UK holidays and weekends. 4 trips booked for next winter - Morocco, Canada, Turkey & Spain.
I'm recently retired - after a career in corporate sales and as a self-employed consultant. I have an enquiring mind and enjoy discussions around TED Talk type topics.
I was married for 33 years then separated (now divorced) on a mutual basis due to different retirement ideals. I have 3 sons (all married) and 4 young grand-children.
I relocated to Weston-super-Mare in 2021 when I separated and have built a solo/bachelor lifestyle and circle of friends from this base. 3 years on and it feels like it's time to shift up a gear.
