About him
I tend to see the silliness in life, and a gentle shared sense of humour is a big part of me.
I've two amazing daughters who are now in their late 20s and are living away having their own adventures in London and in New Zealand - I'm so very proud of them and who they’ve become as adults.
I’m blessed with some amazing friends, and I love them dearly.
In the last year I've moved from Sheffield to live in North Wales, set up working as a freelancing consultant (so I can finally be my own boss!). I love the outdoors, beaches, the sea and walking (hence my house move) – it keeps me centred and calm when the world around us often isn't!
I enjoy playing sport (hockey) and a little bit of running to keep up my fitness. I enjoy watching live sports (especially football). I recently learnt to play the ukulele (wish I’d done it years ago). I'm also looking to get a new dog soon, as I had to say a goodbye to my spaniel Lottie last Spring.
I have to say I’m quite clumsy at times, and forever mislaying things - so you’d have to be a little patient with me (and not let me near expensive glassware!)

So apparently I'm now finding this really difficult to write down!
What I really want is to meet somebody who I can make a real connection with, both mentally and romantically - I want that spark. I'd really love to meet somebody who is kind hearted and gentle, and wants to spend some time together travelling / having silly adventures at the weekend / watching TV / cooking together / dining out. I also want to meet somebody who definitely values their own independence (as I do), but is also generous enough to share some of their life (as I will).
I'm realising now that I'm probably a cliche, but that's me!
