Hello, I’m Lou….thanks for stopping by.
I’m interested, interesting and intelligent…..but not an intellectual! An interesting mind is a very attractive quality to me and holds equal appeal as physical attraction.
Chemistry IS important though…..physical, emotional, spiritual and intellectual.
I have a creative side to my nature rather than practical ( don’t ask my to put a shelf up or fix anything - unless I can use sellotape or gorilla glue!). I love to paint and sketch, life drawing especially, and I do some writing too - poems and short stories. I’m an avid reader of books ….the experience is so lacking using a Kindle. I gave mine up years ago. I love music and have very eclectic tastes but the sounds from my teens, 20’s and 30’s still do it for me. Musical theatre, ballet and opera are all arts I really enjoy…..also live music gigs, though arena events are too large and impersonal for my liking.
I love to cook and am good at it! There’s nothing more enjoyable than sitting with friends or family round a table with good wine, conversation, laughter and delicious food!
I love the outdoors and am fortunate to
live with fields and woods on my doorstep. I love walking but I’m no hiker or mountaineer…..and I don’t ride a bike (though I’ve no objection to any potential
Partner having those interests.
I’ve two wonderful grown up sons and one baby granddaughter. They rock my world 🌎 And I mustn’t leave out Rosie, my much loved dog…..she’s a one off!

This is impossible as I just don’t know! I don’t have a ‘type’ but I prefer taller men ( over 5’8”) and not really skinny. I don’t mind bald/ shaved heads and quite like a well kept stubbly beard but it’s the person inside who matters most. I’m comfortable dating someone younger or up to 5 years older.
A sense of humour is so important but I don’t need to be laughing from morning to night!
