I am tired of being on my own, doing things on my own. Life is for living and it is sadly no dress rehearsal , so I want to experience new places and new interests/skills with that special person in this new chapter.
My family and friends are very important to me . Friends say I am reliable, loyal, caring, affectionate, sociable, see the funny side of the situation, good listener especially in a crisis, easy to please, grateful especially for the small things in life as well as the big ones and finally unpretentious.
My background is in education, house consultancy, DIY and caring.
I can’t say I have a big passion for anything but more of an all-rounder. Watching sport on television overall is not for me, would prefer to go to eg tennis match to enjoy the whole day experience from beginning to end.
I enjoy/ interested in the theatre, cinema, places of interest eg stately homes/museums, exhibitions, art/craft and design, architecture, history, family history, the universe, listening to a variety of music, gardening, dining out, spa days, pilates, casual coastal and country walks with a stop at a quintessential English tea room or somewhere off the beaten track for lunch or refreshment, meeting up with family or friends, and days at home with a good meal and a glass of wine.
Not keen on talks/programmes of people’s lives unless they have contributed to make the world a better place.
Main holidays abroad or in the UK or at home with days out. I AM EASILY PLEASED but would be lovely to have away days in between.
