Profile descriptions can be very two dimensional, aren't they? But here goes.
I'm active & fairly fit. Interests include motorcycling, camping (in a tent or my camper van ), nature & the countryside, cycling, water sports including sailing, canoeing/kayaking, scuba & snorkelling.
Love going to live music events, whether it be a pub, local live music evening or larger gigs. Massive arena gigs aren't really my thing though, too far away from the artists to appreciate them fully.
I have cultural interests including art & cinema & especially music, a wide range of tastes in music. I still love discovering new bands & artists.
I have a great interest in cinema & films. You really can't beat the experience of seeing wonderful films on the big screen. I especially enjoy unusual art-house, foreign cinema and films by new directors and the usual mainstream releases. If you are a Fan of Tim Burton or Guillermo del Toro we'll definitely have something in common.
Laid back with a love of outdoors & nature, especially being near water.. One of my hobbies is sailing both on small boats (racing sailing dinghies) and bigger boats. I have sailed in various locations around the British Isles and in the Mediterranean. I also enjoy kayaking and stand up paddle boarding.
I'm a keen motorcyclist with a couple of bikes. I do a fair bit of motorbike related charity work every year and have helped raise money for cancer charities, Yorkshire Air Ambulance, Prostate cancer research, men's mental health & suicide prevention, Royal British Legion & children's charities.
I love adventures, but it's much better if the experience is shared, which, of course, is the reason for being here and it would be great to meet someone with the same adventurous spirit, with a 'give it a go' attitude. We're not here that long. Make it memorable. Life is too short for regrets. Live your life to the best of your ability.
