I believe that good manners are important, friends would describe me as caring, loyal, generous, romantic, polite, I care about my appearance, happy in jeans for the garden or DIY but can scrub up well for a formal night out, get to know me and you will find that I have a quick-witted sense of humour, definitely a feminist, I avoid confrontation and arguments but I won't allow myself to be walked all over, I believe in a relationship, that it is improbable to agree on every subject, but I believe talking about it and coming to a compromise, is the best way forward, I strongly believe that neither one nor the other should rule the relationship, it should be 50/50, I am definitely a glass half full person. Dislikes would be tattoos, body piercings except for earings, heavy makeup.

I like a lady who has a good sense of humour, doesn't take herself too seriously, loyalty is paramount, I have never and will never play away with another woman and I would look for the same loyalty in a Lady, I am sure that there are few couples who like the same things in life, be it sport or tv programs, I would never expect my partner to go somewhere or watch something that she doesn't like and vice versa.
A deal-breaker for me would be if my partner had an affair, as I would never dream of doing such a thing.
I love good beverages, like Malt Whisky, virtually any wine, but my personal preference would be red wine. I am not a daily beer drinker, the only time that I drink beer normally would be in the summer or especially on holiday, I love when I holiday in Malta their local beer is Cisk lager it is gorgeous, sadly they don't export it, if I did have a bitter out, I would have real ale, it tastes so hoppy and there are hundreds of different variations.
