About him
So how would I describe myself? Well I have a wide range of interests, from wine + food (including cooking), music (mainly classical and jazz), tennis - and I think I have quite an enquiring mind. I like a rural holiday in France or Italy exploring vineyards, sampling the local cuisine and attempting to converse with the locals. Oh yes, and I have been learning jazz piano; it has been a huge challenge but I feel that efforts are starting to bear fruit.
Really importantly, I love to laugh - a shared sense of humour with my partner is a bit of a must.
How would others describe me? Quite creative and determined, sometimes opinionated, good fun (hopefully) ...

Common sense of humour, wide-ranging interests, an enquiring and open mind. Sharing hobbies / interests would of course be great - but perhaps compatible mindsets and a willingness to change and grow together is more important.
My ideal evening: a walk; more often than not, a good discussion - our day, the news, family / friends, life - over a tasty home-cooked meal with a good bottle of wine on the side; we take turns choosing background music; perhaps a film and an open fire later?
Of course posh restaurant meals, cinema, maybe something cultural, meeting up with friends / family are all nice from time to time.
