Bohemian, lively, sporty, witty, irreverent, gregarious...at least that is what others say....I tend to concur.
I love the outdoors and all wildlife, even the creepy-crawlies. What's not to love about wood lice and spiders make great housemates.
I like virtually all music and make lots of playlists which can contain music from Medieval to contemporary. I sing in a rock choir and at the drop of a hat.
I love walking into the freezing cold sea without a whimper. And freezing cold showers. Probably best described as an extremist then. Not too keen on the mundane.
I do quite a lot of voluntary work. I am done with the daily grind; I do as I please, whether it is paid or not. I visit the cinema at least once a week. Usually more. I play quite a lot of tennis. Well a very lot actually. If I am not playing tennis then I am volunteering. That usually involves cooking and being irreverent but hopefully not irrelevant. I want to learn to do more DIY... well some would be a good start.
I have a reasonable sized garden which I am carelessly cultivating into a wilderness. But I have made space for herbs and some veg. I share it very happily with a lot of other birds and a few unhouse-trained mammals
I love satire and humour. Big fan of BBC Sounds and R4.
I eat quite healthily, almost vegetarian I suppose, apart from the occasional iron- grabbing middle eastern lamb dish and I do like spam fritters as a rare treat ... I know ... pure filth.
I want to keep my own front door at least for now...who knows how things can turn out but it would be kinda sweet to share good times with someone I respect and cherish as a friend and soulmate.

Well it would be rather splendid to meet an intelligent, warm hearted chap with a well developed sense of humour and an attractive smile to mull over life's absurdities. Preferably he will be reasonably fit and active with a positive outlook and self-assured and a laid back attitude. A love of spam fritters is optional. Honesty and integrity are not.
It would be good to have some shared pursuits but it is also good to give each other the space to pursue our own interests. Someone happy in their own skin.
