About her
I am a very down to earth woman with lots of life experience. I've travelled a lot (and want to travel more), I've loved and had my heart broken, I've survived professional challenges and am currently self-employed. My three teenage children are my pride and joy and my wide circle of girlfriends are truly wonderful, but I am ready for some adult male company and I've missed having someone special in my life.
My friends would describe me as bubbly and the hostess with the mostest (I love to entertain) and I have really missed having friends over during lockdown. I have, however, discovered walking and have grown to love it.
Other hobbies (in normal times) are cinema, theatre, exhibitions, meals out and city breaks.
I'm very independent and generally a positive person but, like anyone, I do need my own space at times. I hope to meet someone that respects that.
About her ideal match
I hope to find someone who is kind and honest - these are my main wishes. I would prefer them to be fairly independent and have an active social life of their own but perhaps one that we can share at times. I have an active social life of my own and would hope to meet someone that would be comfortable meeting my friends and perhaps someone who would enjoy entertaining them with me.
I really hope to find someone with a 'world view' - someone who is interested in different countries and cultures and pays attention to what's going on in the world (rather than just what's on their own doorstep).
My children are at the centre of my life and I would hope to meet a fellow parent who understands that need to prioritise them, and enjoys the wonders of watching their own children grow up (or someone whose children already have and can share their experience with me!).
Generally I'm hoping for a warm person who has empathy and good emotional intelligence. Fingers crossed!
