Being me is more important than conforming in my opinion. I am NOT a typical 55yo; I can’t cook, I have pink hair, piercings and tattoos, I’m a little chubby (I think “cuddly” sounds better), I dress like a hippy or a toddler (depends on my mood), am stupidly pedantic about grammar, spelling and punctuation and my best friends are 2 dogs and 2 cats (closely followed by some humans).
