About her
Ever the optimist, I have always thought the past is done and the future will be a better place - even though it has sometimes been hard to think that way over thIs last year.
I have been (largely) retired for 4 years and over that time have had a go at, and dropped or taken up, a whole host of new activities: sporty, social, art and crafty, and volunteering.
I’m not very sporty, and never was, although I quite like adventure sports and used to ski a bit, sail a bit, and I have a (now unused) pilots’ licence. Since retiring I’ve tried running - but that’s not for me! I do walk quite a bit. I play table tennis and badminton (not very well). I’ve taken up singing a choir (but that’s something none of us has been able to do recently) and pottery (which I love) and photography (which I’m better at than I am at pottery).
I’ll give most things a go and I’m looking to meet someone who is similar. I’m not sure to what end but a companion would be a good start.
