About her
Approaching (and now passing) 60 made me sit up and reassess what I want from life and I realised I would like one last stab at finding romance. I miss having someone to share those special moment with - an amazing sunrise or sunset, walking in our beautiful countryside, watching an owl stalk it’s prey...reminding us how lucky we are to live in such a glorious world. I think the appearance of Covid and lockdown have also made me more aware of how transient life is...we need to grab it with both hands and enjoy it to it's fullest!
Who am I? I think I’m fairly laid back, still enjoy learning (something I hope will never end) and I am comfortable in most situations. I try to take care of myself and have always made the effort to look my best...although I do have a tendency to overindulge in the things I like...think of it as being sensual lol!
I like think I am reasonably intelligent and have a good sense of humour...some say witty, some say inappropriate...you judge! As I've allured to, I really enjoy walking, photography - just started a course to see if I can improve on my results, travelling and experiencing different cultures. However, I am also a sucker for the beautiful countryside we have on our doorstep...especially at sunrise and sunset. I find cooking quite relaxing - I’m no cordon bleu but like to think I’m better than average and it's important that what I eat, tastes the best it can. I love enjoying good food with good company and a lovely glass of wine...heaven!

Who am I looking for? Someone who is emotionally intelligent, doesn’t take themselves too seriously (l miss laughing with someone who really gets me) so a good sense of humour is essential. I admire people who are kind and treat others with respect...rudeness and selfishness are a definite deal breaker for me...which also includes people who 'like' my profile and then never respond to a message! At least have the good grace to let me know if you rather not pursue things any further. I would also like to meet someone who is still looking for an adventure or two before taking things a bit easier.
Although it would be great to find someone on my doorstep (Amazon have yet to deliver), I am prepared to travel for the right person.
