I love walking, kayaking, swimming (warm water only ;-), cycling and gardening, I’m also gradually getting back into Pilates.
I also love just stopping sometimes when I don’t have the children and watching a good movie or the finer things in life can be a wonderful treat.
The children have just started to teach me chess and I’d like to learn to sail - perhaps do a competent crew course ?
My outlook on life.... simple to treat others as you wish to be treated. My glass is always half full or more and I always look for the positive in a person or situation because I’m convinced everything happens for a reason.
I’m thankful for all that I have and don't take anything for granted.

My ideal match..... Tall, with hair (!), why do many men get to a certain age and shave/cut all their hair off?
Kind, intelligent, honest and thoughtful, funny, articulate, confident are all qualities that are important to me.
I can be the chattiest person in the room, enjoy day trips exploring and weekends away but I can also be quiet and love my home so a weekend spent walking or working in the garden is absolutely fine.
At 51 I have reached a point where I am peaceful and happy but it would be lovely to have a special person to share life with and have fun/go exploring with.
