Single geeky genealogist who chases others tales.
Basically, kids have flown the nest and now its time for me.
I run my own successful business which began in 2010.
I'm solvent, intelligent, have a good sense of humour and can hold a conversation about almost anything, from history to embalming techniques.
I am a loyal friend, all my friends have been around for years. I keep my circle small. I enjoy good company and intellectual conversation.
I have in the past partook in archery, shooting (I had a sharp shooter badge when in the TA), skiing, rock climbing, rally cross and banger racing, amongst other things.
I enjoy company for pint or two, playing pool, pub quizzes, socialising, dancing, and all other aspects of spending quality time with others.
On my own, I walk my two elderly dogs, maintain my house and garden and can stripe down an engine and put it back together again, although there is usually one mysterious piece that doesn't seem to belong anywhere.
I currently smoke but intend stopping in the new year. I have stopped in the past for over two years but this year, for some strange reason, I have returned to it.
I tend to 'collect' friends with integrity even if we don't hold the same views.
I'm also an avid book collector, mainly history and local history.
