Life has been 'on hold' for too long and it's time to move forward to the next chapter. I'm retired from a public service career but still lead a relatively busy life. My children are grown up and it's time to enjoy what life has to offer! I'm caring, considerate, compassionate, honest, supportive, intelligent and solvent with a sense of fun and adventure that's been suppressed for too long! I'm hoping to find someone with similar values that I can enjoy life with. I moved to rural North Wales years ago for the beauty that's not too far from my Liverpool roots. I do have a 'posh' Liverpool accent! I enjoy walking with my 12 year old black Labrador dog, singing, crafting, sight-seeing, exploring, property development and just relaxed conversation over a glass of red wine! Like many, I used to enjoy eating out, theatre etc but not so confident now with Covid. I'm not looking to rush into a physical relationship and would like to develop a secure friendship first and foremost. Just to let you know, I'm a little awkward on the phone till I know someone and would prefer a meeting early on to ensure someone is genuine, if that makes sense...

A genuine man with similar values to myself, preferably with some freedom to enjoy life although I don't mind if still working some of the time.
