About him
I'm a gregarious, young at heart, 61 year old who loves experiencing life, playing sport (tennis) and socialising. I love travel and new experiences, i can relax by a pool or beach but prefer more adventurous independent travel, or a combination of the two. I like to cook, although my repetoire is rather limited I do enjoy experimenting, enjoy listening to music of all kinds, mainly from the late 70's through to the 90's but love to explore new genres. I like cinema and film generally, mainly independents but especially European films with directors like Pedro Almodóvar. Most of my time during the week is spent working but I have the weekends off(!) when I like to relax, again mainly tennis and cycling, with a bit of socialising thrown in. I'm generally a glass half full kind of guy and like to be around people with that sort of positivity - I always find having a smile on your face gets you though most situations.

I'm looking for a someone with a generosity of spirit and a desire to make the most of life whatever it might bring. Ultimately I am looking for a long term relationship but appreciate this will be a work in progress and am looking to meet kindred spirits for friendship, companionship, to have some fun and to see how things develop. I love being active and would like a partner with a similar approach, to enjoy not just the activities I've listed above but to try new avenues and see what happens. I don't have any "deal breakers" as such, although I do prefer more down to earth, natural partners who are feminine yet not "high maintenance" for want of a better phrase! Oh, and selfie pictures with bunny ears and the like are a no-no; and going on a cruise for a holiday would be my idea of hell! Apart from that I'm very easy going.
