It's very embarrassing trying to paint a picture about yourself.
My name's Peter, I'm recently widowed, retired and I've just moved to Ferndown from the Midlands.
Before Covid, I used to enjoy the usual activities, theatre, eating out, live music, bowls and bowling, NT, walking (though not as far as I do now), cycling, gardening, DIY, cooking.
Now, it's walking, cycling, DIY, gardening is a project for spring, thank God for Netflix and Prime and Facetime.
Miss hugging my Granddaughter but, speak to her at least twice a week. Can't wait till I can fly to Qatar to see her again.
When life is back to some sort of normality it would be nice to build a friendship/relationship with someone, while we both retain our independence and interests. To have someone to share days out, weekends away. Sunday lunch at the pub, theatre trips and much more.
