I am friendly and sociable and love getting to know people. I love a good conversation over coffee (and cake, of course) or a nice meal (which can be fish and chips or cordon bleu, and everything in between). I enjoy days out, visiting museums, art galleries, events, theatre etc., or just staying in. I am retired and apart from some charity shop volunteering my time is pretty much my own.
I was a secondary school teacher and also trained for almost 4 years, part time, to be a person centred counsellor.
Iam NOT into one night stands, whingers or Clinton's. I am NOT a Stepford wife and housework is very low down on my priorities, apart from basic cleaning.

He should be: Taller than me, reasonably confident ( but definitely not arrogant or full of himself). Intelligent- which is not always the same as educated. Able to have a good, easy going conversation/exchange of views. Enjoy days out and open to and interested in"culture ", without being too high brow. Maybe a handyman, that would be good 👍.
Looks are important- I don't believe anyone who says they aren't- but definitely not in the traditional adonis or super model sense. I go for nice eyes and a genuinely caring, non judgemental personality above all else. A 'regular man'.
