Before you go on reading, I’d better comment now:
Re online dating
It used to be that you met someone in your actual life.
Now you ‘go shopping’ for love, and digitally.
After a while, once the mystique of online dating would fade, I could start to understand that you have to say what you want, no matter if that sounds crass, blunt, unrealistic, etc.
There is no place for the more subtle things that happen in real life.
So here’s one thing I pretty much am sure of: a potential friend or partner is going to have to live somewhat local to me.
I have done plenty of, and continue to do travelling for work purposes. What I am always aware of at these times is how I am pulled out my environment, like a plant uprooted from where it grew.
That’s maybe fun for holidays; but for building something: comfort, continuity, familiarity etc,, short of a miraculous situation, I am looking for someone close by. . to allow for life to happen.
Why should people get to know me? Because I am a person who enjoys doing things, learning about things, and people; and caring for things, and people.
I am warm, flexible, funny sometimes, contemplative sometimes, caring, honest, intelligent, creative, alternative, not rich.
I love the out of doors. Gardening, walking, travel and sightseeing.
I enjoy most things more with company!

Warm, funny, open- minded, chilled. Women and men can be so different; it seems sometimes a wonder that they want to be together at all. And yet, at least I still feel that ‘without a man’ I am not quite or fully complete. I am looking for someone who is interested in this dynamic and making it into something good and meaningful.
WHAT WOULD MAKE YOUR RELATIONSHIP WORK?
Common or compatible or similar interests and appreciations, I think would be something that would have to be there.
Really, I love/ am ultimately looking for a pretty earthy life. As I said: Outdoors. Working with plants, the Earth, possibly animals.
Creative, hands-on activities, indoors and out.
I am flexible and open minded. But I know that I care about these things.
Although I used to be, must admit that I am not so very tough and strong anymore. Do not want to climb a mountain (unless it’s in Bulgaria), or go cross country on a motorcycle, for ex.
I think the mutual wish and interest to spend time together well, not out of pressure or habit.
Consequently, to use that time with lots of good things: openness, care, honesty, attention, joy, peace, imagination.
