About her
A seasoned Londoner, with a thing about the sea. Empathetic, observant, cheeky and affectionate, I am equally at home in city galleries and libraries or in a tent in the wilds.
Like many of us here, there has been some re-modelling in recent years (not in the plastics department, you understand!). Now working as a lecturer in 20th century art history and managing on the whole to take myself seriously, with the occasional wry smile at my late ambition and its numerous pitfalls.
I’m a total nature-lover who believes that holidays are for the senses and knows the thrill of plunging feet in an icy stream after a mountain walk. Am fit but no gym bunny: outdoor swimming is a constant plus yoga and I love to sail if given the chance. Otherwise, I am also a dedicated cook, experienced gardener, avid reader, novice guitar player, occasional creative writer.
This site has brought some rewarding encounters but plenty of frustration too. Where is the rule guys that you are automatically entitled to connect with a woman ten years or more younger than yourself? Show some perspective perhaps?!
I know what love isn’t: I also know that life is short and that passion is neither dead nor deliverable by drone.

I am told most men look at the first photograph and move on, so if you have read this far then I'm inclined to like you already 😉 I guess I am quite demanding of life and would like to find someone on my wavelength; to feel at ease but also to dare a little.
