I'm a warm, caring easy-going and dependable lady with a preference for culture and the outdoors. Positive outlook on life. fairly quiet and reserved at times, but certainly no shrinking violet!
Varied interests. Enjoy fell-walking, quality theatre, listening to music (classical mostly), nature and animals.
Farming background, spending much of my childhood and early teens on grandparents mixed farm (livestock & arrable) .Although not part of my professional working life now I have fond memories and still comfortable around livestock. My grandfather was one of the first farmers in the UK to keep Charolais cattle and help set up the British Charolais Cattle Society.
Work full time in an interesting and demanding field. Not far off retirement but reasonably fit and active so may carry on. Have been through a difficult few years of loss and beginning to turn the corner.
