About her
I'm an ambivert, sociable but like my own company. Love to travel to off the beaten track places though will dip my toes in tourist traps to see the sights. When home a simple walk over Hampstead Heath on a bright warm day with a gentle breeze will put a smile on my face.
Just returned from Safari in the Serengeti, Tanzania and seen the big 5 and wildebeests migration which bought happy tears to my eyes. Then chilled by the unspoilt town of Pangani by the Indian Ocean. An unforgettable trip and one am dying to do again. Things I like to do: dancing, writing, yoga, travelling, cooking, beach combing, laughing, world cinema, museums, hanging out with friends whom i have many and care about. Music has always been a passion (former rock chic) from contemporary to classical and will happily dance at the drop of a hat. I enjoy writing little ditties, not quite poetry but hey who cares and am currently writing a non-fiction book. At this stage of life work is less of a feature though I still enjoy it, self-employed for 25 years so manage to fit it around my life. not vice versa. I love French culture, speak the language well and before Covid visited every few months. Am very at home in France. Got a personal trainer 4 yrs ago and feel all the better for it which is great because i want to do and see more in this one and precious life. Not that life so far hasn't been full and continues to be so but it'd be good to have someone to share it with again. I'm often told i pass for 10 yrs younger, genetic, not surgical. I'm a tactile and loving person but full on intimacy is not high on the agenda at this stage of life.

You like to travel and enjoy other cultures, are not easily bored (or boring) and easy on the eye. Great if we have shared interests as well as diverse ones. Be good if you like to occasionally do things in style but happy if things are rustic. Deal breakers are heavy smoking, drinking, deeply religious or if all you want from a relationship is sex. It'd be fab if you have a great sense of humour and its important you have emotional awareness. You'll be attractive perhaps with a creative streak but not so much that it takes precedence over the people in your life. You'll still have a zest for life, no pipe and slippers, but can enjoy a less frantic pace. At the end of the day it isn't about a tick list of 'all the right things'. Its about connection and shared values and really how do you know that until you get to know someone?
