About him
Young at heart and adventurous, I've sailed the seas, travelled the lands and had lots of fun along the way. After a career in management I ventured out on my own and am now easing into retirement. What's missing? A kindred spirit to share the journey with me.
I moved to the countryside 25 years ago and went native. Love the outdoors, nature, country people and long walks (often ending with a pub lunch). Adore British summers but not so fond of our cold, wet winters. Tropical rainforests are my nirvana.
I'm gregarious, chatty, confident and educated, have a wry sense of humour and a soft spot for people who can laugh at themselves. Am often told I look younger than my age, and I'm quite fit. Wear my heart on my sleeve and what you see is what you get - no pretensions.
Love travel and adventure, dislike materialistic people, cheap TV and celery (seriously, who likes celery?). Am an avid reader with a good general knowledge and deep understanding of the sciences, not so hot on the arts.

I miss the heady feelings of togetherness and intimacy that come from a healthy relationship, and hope to find a lady who misses it too. Someone who loves the outdoors but also cherishes cosy evenings-in, cuddles and early nights. A partner who invests time and effort into nurturing a good relationship (I promise to respond in kind), and a tactile communicator who's open and willing to bare her soul.
