I hope that my friends would say I am kind, caring, reliable, honest and most of all fun loving.
I get on with most people and find conversation easy albeit not always about the important things in life.
I love the outdoors, a walk (not hike) in the country or by the sea followed hopefully by lunch in a cosy pub.
My passion is travel, short or long haul, home or overseas. Whilst I have done this alone over the past few years a companion would be welcome, is that you?
I have many interests, history, gardening, reading and although I am not
a sport lover I can hit a mean 7 iron. I have also discovered the wonderful game of croquet, which I enjoy in the winter sun.
I enjoy music, a good movie ( preferably black and white) followed by a good home cooked dinner, not a bad cook if I say so myself.
I am independent and have the best job in the world being 'retired ' and want to live life to the full, however there is something missing! That special someone to complete the picture.

My ideal match would be someone who is kind, honest and caring, who still has a need to explore new and exciting destinations and to create new memories - someone who is also comfortable with a glass of wine, listening to music or watching good film. But also someone who is ready to move on with their life, not living in the past.
