About her
I have created a different life for myself in Spain, having moved here seven years ago after being widowed 3 years previously.
I am happy , fulfilled and content with who I am.
I live in a semi rural setting just 2.5 km from the beach and 5 km from Estepona.
Due to family living close by , and my dogs, I am unlikely to relocate.
I’m well travelled , creative ,educated and emotionally fluent with a passion for music and colour.
I am spiritual , but not flaky or woo hoo in any way, probably due to my previous life as an M.D. of a company where I led an MBO.
Whilst not religious, I probably am more Buddhist than anything. For me it’s a way of life, kindness and compassion.
I changed my career and moved from a senior executive job to a much more gentle occupation seventeen years ago.
It suits me well, but I still have a business and analytical mind.
Being self employed gives me the ability to work when I like just a few hours a day, from anywhere in the world as long as there is good internet reception.
Certainly self sufficient, but missing someone special to share the good times with.
If you appreciate sunsets, the great outdoor life beach walks , and dogs, that would be a good start.
A sense of humour , no addictions and confident personality would be even better .
If you’re looking for a life less ordinary , then we might be getting close..
In essence, I am looking to meet someone who truly wants to move into the next chapter and is really comfortable with who they are.
I’m probably more attracted to the younger age in my spectrum, or around my age. Certainly own hair, teeth and no serious health issues that might be challenge.
I’m not ready for a pipe and slippers arrangement.
I lead an active and interesting life and I hope you do too .

Tall, funny, confident, intelligent ,uncomplicated , compassionate and positive in outlook , with their own life and interests. An English speaker and lover of life !
Ideally someone who knows what’s important and of real value in life.Who loves to laugh ,lives well and believes that two can be better than one.
A love of dogs , music and creativity would be fantastic . An interest in art, antiques, music and Spirituality would be even better.
It would be completely unrealistic to think that at a certain age there is no history or past.
However, I would hope that you would see this as the foundation that went to help you be what you have become, rather than wistfully looking backwards.
We all come with emotional baggage, I'm looking to meet someone with carry on only (not the Sid James variety)

Alison is a witty, intelligent and somewhat sassy character, she is quick to laugh and has a wonderful sparkle in her eyes that speaks to the nature of who she is. She is creative & intuitive and as our friendship has developed I often find myself quoting her to other friends. I love Alison. She is kind, creative, loving, smart, thoughtful, stylish, and just the right person to have in your corner in life. We have been good friends for 25 years. She is fun to have around and be around too. We have spent many great times together. She found my husband for me - she arranged a blind date for me to meet him ( that was my first and only blind date). Isn't that the definition of friendship?. I met Alison professionally initially as she found a job for me. At the time she was the MD of a career search company based in London. So when I think about it she was formative in both my professional and personal life!"
I ought to mention that I found the man that Alison married too - but sadly after 10 years of marriage he died and after some years of being alone, Alison is ready to start a new relationship.
