About her
A presentable, intelligent female with strong interest in art, current affairs (but strictly non tribal), visiting places and rather partial to a good chat with a male about this and that. (Yes, I like male company!) Not 'bubbly' or ditzy but not earnest/overly serious either. Long divorced I have had to be very self sufficient and grounded. Have lived in Italy and France for study/work and most of my working life was involved with languages (hence the Ms Linguist). Working til very recently I miss that buzz and have more time on my hands. I love going to places in this country but equally would relish some more European travel. I have children and grandchildren and would be pleased if someone also had family - just because the ups and downs of that provide something else in common.

I imagine it would be someone grounded, reasonably well informed and quick witted - + the often requested 'sense of humour'. I have only an average amount of baggage and would hope for the same. Not worried about age - particularly if men are younger!
An amiable, genuine, easygoing kind of man. Not expecting fireworks - but I guess at least a tiny spark would be a bonus.
Initially hoping to find pleasant interesting company. Live close to Tunbridge Wells so would probably suggest that as place to meet up for initial coffee/drink.
