Love the outdoors - whether that is climbing a hill, camping on a beach, getting on the bike or kayaking off Scotland's west coast. Geographer at heart.
Currently living in rural Perthshire and working in Glasgow and Edinburgh. I work for an environmental consultancy - keeping me busy in these challenging times. Originally from Wales, but arrived in rural Scotland after stints in London and Glasgow.
Bit of a foody - either enjoying dinner at home or splashing out at a special restaurant. Trying to mind carbon miles, but do like to travel, though with my dog in tow, more distant trips are more limited these days. Happier in a pub than a club and with a group of good friends than in a room full of small talk ....
Politically, greenish and left of centre. Radio 4, house of cards, mad men and the killing. Wide ranging musical tastes from classical, through jazz and folk to rock and drum and bass. Partially unfulfilled artistic bent.
Drink but not usually to excess! Enjoy the odd bottle of beer and a sunset on a remote beach somewhere.
