Friends might describe me as kind and patient. I'm fairly fit and like to keep active. I like walking, the outdoors and company but not crowds or too much noise. I walk a lot and fairly fast, cycle, swim, go to the gym and very occasionally row. I go skiing most years with my daughter. I have some travel plans; maritime provinces of Canada, Japan, Australia (?) and I would love to learn to ride, paddle board, rock climb and sail proper boats.
