Easy going, affectionate, kind, caring, intelligent.. I keep fit by weight training and practising yoga though not fanatical about either.

I completed Macmillan's "hilly hike" half marathon over the cliffs from Alfriston to Eastbourne (Solo) on 11th June and in 29C heat....so now thinking of applying to the SAS😉
Like living, loving, laughing ( like to think I have a good sense of humour) and listening to music ( mainly on Radio 2, 3 and 6 Music).
I go to the fantastic Love Supreme Jazz Festival at Glynde every year. (Except during pandemics). Would be great to go with a music lover next year!
Also go on monthly guided Wealden walks ( based around local history) whenever possible. I enjoy walking on the S Downs, a short drive away, but not alone. I love gardening and spending time outdoors as well as in art galleries. I feel most at home being close to the sea and liked sailing in the dim & distant....
Friends and family are very important to me and I still travel to Birmingham & Kidderminster when possible to see them. Very sad that I lost a close friend very recently, my younger brother in 2021 and 2 dear friends in 2019.
I've worked in the Civil service, local government (HR) specialising in Equalities issues recruitment
and training, self employed with late x husband running a small Luthier's business, making and importing cello cases and as an English language support teacher in Budapest.
Married Mr v Wrong and have lived alone since divorcing ( after 15 years) in 1996. Nevertheless still deluded that Mr Right is out there somewhere....
