I've had a generally happy life but fate has dealt me a couple of curveballs which have made me question whether it ever wanted me to be a happily married man.Now divorced and looking to start to live life to the full again.
I love music and watching live bands and suppose that I'm really just a big kid at heart.
I used to be quite a sporty type but nowadays its confined to watching from the stand or the couch. I'm now getting into hillwalking and enjoy being outdoors.
My friends would say I'm the quiet type but as the saying goes 'still waters run deep'. Personally I think there is an old-fashioned romantic buried in there needing uncovered by the right person.
However, they would also say I make a good, loyal,reliable friend who can be looked to for for advice or a shoulder to cry on if needed.

I would like to meet someone to share fun times and mutual interests. So many of the things I enjoy would be made so much more fun by having someone to enjoy them with, and if there is a spark that leads to something more then so much the better.
My ideal match would be a natural, warm, affectionate, tactile person with a sense of humour who can help me rediscover the me that I have lost along the way. I have no preconceptions and just hope to find a soulmate.
