About her
I'm bright, entertaining and generally excellent company. I think you might be able to tell from that statement that I have a positive outlook on life! I’m retired so I now like to get out and do all the “stuff" I never had time for which usually means going for a swim, walking to or from country gastro-pubs, walking the dog and travelling. (Last trip was to Turkey.) I read fiction but I can always find a movie or TV drama series more of a draw. I listen to radio 4 or audio books to pass the time when ironing or driving.
I live in a beautiful rural area but enjoy a city break for a bit of culture whenever I can; theatre, galleries and a light touch of shopping ...... I'm fairly liberal in my views and value tolerance and patience, especially in my friends.

I would really like to meet a man who has things to say, views, interests and opinions; who reads more than technical journals. I love a chat over a coffee or a glass of wine or, even better, during a walk in the hills. Cooks welcome as I like the challenge of a little competition in the kitchen. I hope you like dogs and love the arts or at least be willing to grow an appreciation? It's a great to visit a gallery when it's raining.
