About him
My outlook on life is pretty straightforward. I have a great life and would like to share it with someone whose company I enjoy and who would like some of the interests I have.
I enjoy being outside so cycling, walking and kayaking are favourite pastimes. Socialising with friends is a must. I have a wide circle of friends most of which are pretty fun to be around! So parties and nights out are frequent and fun. Travel is another passion. I have so many places I would like to go and like nothing better than exchanging travel stories and discussing the plans for the next journey. The brochures /internet are being feverishly scanned for the next adventure.
Health is important to me and I have a personal trainer which means endeavour to exercise daily, either at my local country club gym, pedalling or walking. One would think that would make as thin as a rake, but despite mostly trying to adhere to healthy home cooked foods, I do enjoy eating out and treats. Hence the “fuller” frame! Further to that nutrition is important and so I like to cook, especially healthily, and I know it is a male cliché, but like to barbecue.
I have been pretty successful in my career and I am now taking it easier working as a consultant in the nuclear industry. In theory this should give me more free time to enjoy.

My ideal match would enjoy travelling as much as I do. Willing to explore new and different cultures, possibly a little out of their comfort zone.
I don't expect a partner girlfriend to want to be part of everything I do for fun, jumping on the back of a motorbike or slipping into a wetsuit or getting filthy dirty on a mountain bike or whatever. To be honest, I guess I do a lot of predominantly boy-sey type activities because I am a single chap! But I do want to be with someone who I can share experiences with, whatever they may be. Hopefully they'll be your interests as well as my own.
They would enjoy taking care of their appearance in dress sense and fitness. Although I prefer casual dress I do take a degree of pride in appearance but not an obsession!
Ideally I would like to meet someone who is tactile and expressive. That is - really experiences and enjoys the electricity that passes between partners when they touch and is able and has no reservations about being willing to openly and honestly express their feelings.
My ideal partner should enjoy dining out, I do, at all sorts of restaurants from casual to formal. I will eat street food in Cambodia but also enjoy Michelin starred venues too. Discovering new places to dine is great fun.
Plus share a love for things outdoorsy! My favourite place in the world is a beach in North Devon watching the sun drop over the surf, preferably enjoying a small BBQ after a session surfing. My own piece of heaven on earth! Off there frequently on Fridays in the summer taking a surfing long weekend with my grown up sons, friends or solo. Must be mad - its always freezing, but nothing other than great fun.
Simple values mean everything to me. Trust, honesty, integrity.... This applies in work life, home life and most particularly relationships.
