About him
I love life, and am an eternal optimist. I enjoy many different things, but am as happy spending time in with a good movie and a take away as going out somewhere special, although I know how important it is to do both. I'm a very social animal, and value close friendships as well as meeting new people. My idea of a perfect evening would probably involve me cooking for friends, especially if it meant I could experiment on them with a new dish.
I love to be active and would always prefer to take part in a sport/activity, especially something new, than watch it. I have traveled all over the world for work and pleasure and still want to see more. But I can also be fairly traditional, loving Sunday roasts and staying in, and I get my peace from losing myself in my garden.
I am a family man (somewhat ironic given that I'm divorced) and nothing gives me greater joy than spending time with my teenage daughter. But there's also more to life, and after spending the last few years ensuring she is alright after her parents' split, it's now time for me as well.
My life has already included many amazing experiences, and I'm looking forward to many more. I'm looking for someone to share them with who enjoys all sorts of things in life. If we have some similar interests that would be fantastic, but if we could introduce each other to new things that could be even better.
I run my own teambuilding business and deliver training on a freelance basis, so my working commitments vary dramatically week by week.

My ideal match is educated and enjoys real conversation. She is willing to share her innermost thoughts openly and is looking for a best friend as well as a partner. She is active and sociable, and is comfortable with people, but also likes more intimate moments together. She is quite adventurous, but also quite traditional, especially in her values (that doesn't mean I'm looking for someone to do my washing, ironing, and cooking, just have integrity and morals).
My ideal match definitely doesn't smoke, and although she may enjoy an occasional drink she can probably take it or leave it. Religion is definitely not a significant part of her life..
Finally, we need to be physically attracted to each other. I'm not expecting a super model to fall for me any more than I can pretend to be an adonis, but chemistry and attraction are an important part of the relationship, and an emotional connection needs to be complemented by that all important spark. I am tactile and need a physical connection in a relationship and would want someone who feels the same.
So that's not much to ask is it! I know that life is full of compromises, and there are many potentially within the above, with very few of them being killer concerns..
